The Day

A milestone day, on and off the course

BSIA closed out its 87th AGM with the Lower Mainland Classic at Northview Golf & Country Club, drawing 169 members and industry partners.

Beyond the scorecards, the day delivered what these tournaments are really for: deals struck on the first tee, supplier relationships rekindled over eighteen holes, and new members leaving with real connections in BC’s building supply community.

President Thomas Foreman welcomed golfers and recognized the morning’s Orion Award winners. Jamey Paterson and Erik Ostensen emceed, with thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and the Northview staff who kept the day running smoothly.

Every hole carried a sponsored contest, and the competition was strong across the field. Winners on the day included Mike Coghill, Linda Metcalfe, Scott Kehoe, and Tony Deane.

Giving back through the Bursary Fund

The 50/50 raffle and a Cedar Furniture draw rounded out the day’s fundraising, with proceeds supporting the BSIA Bursary Fund and the next generation of our industry.
