Supporting BSIA Members
Kaizen is working with BSIA to identify and develop funding opportunities that could expand services for its members. This includes clarifying government program requirements, shaping project concepts, building delivery partnerships, and creating practical pathways that connect businesses with the right expertise, funding, and financing.
Responding to a Changing Industry
The building supply sector is facing growing pressure from tariffs, shifting supply chains, rising costs, labour constraints, and rapid technological change. Many businesses recognize the need to adapt but lack the time or internal resources to assess their options and build a clear plan.
Kaizen’s proposed approach would help participating businesses:
Assess their current position and identify priority opportunities
Create a practical business improvement and investment plan
Improve productivity, operations, and management systems
Explore automation, digital tools, and AI
Strengthen supply chains and respond to tariff disruption
Identify suitable vendors, technical partners, grants, and financing options
Implement improvements and measure resulting business outcomes
Looking Ahead
Kaizen’s work with BSIA is designed to strengthen the Association’s ability to help members navigate change and access opportunities that might otherwise be difficult to identify or pursue. BSIA looks forward to continuing this partnership to help build a more productive, innovative, and resilient building supply industry in British Columbia.
