Estimator/Designer - Fernie Home Building Centre, located in the S.E. corner of B.C. is currently seeking a courteous and friendly individual to fill this position. This person will have the ability to work a flexible schedule including week-ends, evenings and holidays.

• The estimator is responsible for assisting the Contruction team with all tasks necessary to initiate the creation of a formal quote, communicate product scope and specification requirements to all trades people.
• Participate in the analysis with the Construction Manager and Project Managers. Individual must maintain a thorough understanding of architectural and structural documents, and compliance as it pertains to building codes.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of TJI Expert or Keymark programs
• Field Experience a PLUS

 Shipping and Scheduling Coordinator 

 
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has excellent customer service skills, shipping, scheduling, computerized order entry, payment processing, report writing; and inventory management experience.
 
The ideal candidate has one to three years of customer service and/or shipping and scheduling coordination experience. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a definite asset. Knowledge of measurements and weights, ability to interpret customer instructions in communication forms is required. Communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, time/priority management skills, attention to detail, and computer skills are needed. Qualification combinations considered.
