Showroom Customer Service Superstar

Are you a creative problem solver who builds rapport easily and is familiar with interior design principles? Can you work with all types of clients from building site managers to architects to interior design professionals? Have you done tiling yourself and know the challenges of working with different types of products in challenging situations? If this sounds like you then we need to talk!  Our client is looking for a showroom superstar who will build a reputation for being the one to talk to before starting any commercial design project in the lower mainland.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Show leadership within the showroom environment and foster an atmosphere of professionalism and exceptional service.
  • Maintain and expand already existing customer base by using consultative sales approach and extensive product knowledge
  • Have the ability to understand and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Get involved in the Vancouver design community to ensure that knowledge stays current and relevant
  • Sell products through creative design solutions and provide product recommendations
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Background in interior design or architectural design
  • BCIT Interior Design Program or equivalent accreditation
  • Very strong listening and comprehension skills. 
  • Customer focused and supportive working style
  • Creative and resourceful problem solver
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented with strong work ethic
 The starting salary for this position is $35,000+ per annum with a great benefit program and growth potential.
