The Building Supply Industry Association of B.C.presents the Industry Merit Award and annually presents the ORION Awards for retail store members and suppliers.
ORION RETAIL STORE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
All member stores were evaluated by independent mystery shoppers and these evaluations became the basis for ranking the stores. The companies that are the top twenty are recognized at the BSIA Annual Gala. The stores that have reached this level show commitment to excellence. They have worked hard at being what their customer wants. Their staff worked hard at making their store a friendly environment, a pleasant place to shop, a store where customers feel valued when they leave the store.
At the Westcoast Building & Hardware Show, held September 11, 2008, at the Cascades Casino Hotel & Convention Centre, the ORION Awards were presented. The ORION Awards are presented to firms and individuals that have shown themselves to be exemplary in all aspects of thier relationship to the building supply industry.
